Creating a Culture of Care

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to reflect on the silent struggles that many people carry and the impact these struggles can have on safety, families, and work. With the support of our partners at C+FS Haven House, our EAP team is here to provide confidential assistance, and pathways to healing for anyone who may be affected by interpersonal violence. We also invite you to share our recorded webinar, “Mental Health Basics,” with your employees. This video offers practical ways to understand mental health, and how we can support one another. By sharing this with your workplace, you are opening the door to greater awareness and care, and you are reinforcing the supportive culture that you have already worked so hard to create.

3-2-1 Winter Wellness Email Challenge

As we plan ahead for January, we are inviting you to participate in our 3-2-1 Winter Wellness Email Challenge. This is a simple six-week wellbeing event designed to offer flexibility and support during the winter months. This event will begin January 14th and run through February 18th.

This program is for you. It is a gentle weekly moment created to provide an opportunity to explore new perspectives and reflect on your experiences.

Each Wednesday throughout the challenge you will receive a short email message that includes:
3 – gentle reminders
2 – brief inspirations 
1 – brief prompt to consider and reflect

Each email takes just a couple of minutes to read. Participation is always optional, and you are welcome to engage in any way that feels right for you. At the end of each weekly message, you will find a brief reflection form to complete.

Participation Incentive: As a thank you for participating, individuals who submit a reflection form will be included in a random drawing for a $50 gift card. Available options include Amazon, Chewy, Barnes and Noble, or Regal. One gift card will be awarded each week. The selected recipient will be notified using the email address provided on the entry form.

Participation is voluntary. No purchase or obligation is required. Participation or non-participation does not affect eligibility for services.

Making an EAP Referral

The purpose of an administrative referral is to facilitate connecting an employee with the EAP program for support when job performance or other personal concerns are impeding their success at work. EAP will provide objective assistance and support that will allow the employee to address their current challenges. The intended outcome will be for the employee to return to their former level of acceptable performance.

**EAP remains, as always, a voluntary and neutral program. **

Are your Employees asking for More EAP Sessions?

C+FS EAP now offers an Expanded EAP option.  This new option is in response to requests by employers to provide additional benefits for employees and their family members!  This new option will provide up to eight (8) sessions of counseling or coaching to employees and anyone living in their household.

Each EAP contract provides credits that can be used for in person or virtual presentations as well as screening events for your teams.
