April 2025 Quarterly Leadership Newsletter

April 2025

Message from the EAP Team:

Did You Know It’s National Humor Month?

April is National Humor Month—a perfect reminder of how powerful laughter can be for our mental health. It’s a natural mood booster, stress reliever, and even a mood enhancer, thanks to those feel-good endorphins it releases.

Whether you are laughing with friends or watching a funny show, a little humor each day can make a big difference. As we focus on mental wellness this month, don’t forget to laugh, it really is the best medicine.

How the Workplace has Evolved – 5 Years Post-Covid

Celebrating the 100th complimentary presentation produced by C+FS EAP 🎉

April 30th at 12pm

Join Megan Andrews, EAP Director, and a panel of experienced HR professionals as they explore how the workplace has transformed, the challenges and successes along the way, and what the future might look like.

This panel discussion will explore the lasting effects of the pandemic on employee well-being, work culture, and organizational practices, while providing valuable insights into how leaders have navigated this period of change. From hybrid work models and mental health initiatives, to shifts in employee expectations and the evolution of workplace policies, this discussion will offer practical lessons learned in a post-pandemic world.

Panelists include:

  • Heather Gallagher: Senior Director, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS at ECMC
  • Collin Gehl: Chief Human Resources Officer at Say Yes Buffalo
